Abstract
Although many timeless classic pop songs have memorable lyrics, in recent years, the pop scene appears to have experienced an increase in demand for reference-worthy material. This video attempts to further explore the cultural and corporate causes for said quotability increase, as well as the resulting genres and writing styles produced under these conditions.
