Abstract
Maché is a countertop matcha-making machine designed to deliver a perfect matcha every time. As matcha consumption continues to grow globally, consumers face challenges such as inconsistent preparation, lack of tools, and inconvenience. Traditional matcha preparation requires multiple steps including measuring, whisking, heating water to the correct temperature, and achieving the proper consistency. Many consumers find this process time-consuming and difficult, leading to inconsistent results and reduced adoption. Maché solves this problem by automating the matcha preparation process into a simple “one button” experience. The device integrates a heating system, whisk motor, water pump, and matcha pod system to create a smooth, perfectly mixed matcha beverage. Users can choose from the brand’s curated matcha pods or use their own matcha powder to fill the pods, offering both convenience and flexibility. The machine will retail for $139, positioning Maché as an affordable premium kitchen appliance. In addition to hardware sales, Maché will generate recurring revenue through matcha pods and subscription services. Customers will have the option to subscribe to monthly deliveries of curated matcha pods, enhancing customer retention and long term revenue. The global matcha market continues to expand as consumers seek healthier beverage alternatives. Maché capitalizes on this trend by offering convenience, consistency, and quality. By combining smart appliance technology with the rapidly growing matcha industry, Maché positions itself as a scalable and profitable startup.
