Abstract
Flow Fit is a universal fire hydrant adapter designed to solve a critical inefficiency in industries that rely on hydrant access, including pressure washing, fire services, and municipal operations. Currently, hydrant outlet sizes vary—creating frequent compatibility issues that result in lost time, failed jobs, and reduced operational reliability.
Flow Fit addresses this problem by providing a single, durable adapter capable of fitting multiple hydrant sizes, eliminating the need for trial-and-error connections. By streamlining setup and ensuring compatibility, the product increases efficiency, reduces equipment load, and improves job success rates for contractors and public service workers alike.
The target market includes approximately 850 fire departments in California, 4,000–6,000 pressure washing companies, and a broader segment of municipal workers and residential users who require dependable water access. With a projected California market size of $2M–$8M and a broader U.S. opportunity exceeding $20M, Flow Fit is positioned to capture meaningful market share through a practical, high-demand solution.
Priced at $189 per unit, Flow Fit offers a cost-effective alternative to purchasing multiple adapters while delivering superior convenience and reliability. Overall, this product represents a scalable, commercially viable innovation that directly addresses a widespread and costly industry problem.
