doubted the outcome of your brave & noble battle; & I need not try to tell the glowing white enthusiasm of my congratulations.I hope to be home in a few days. Pray send a line to Martinez telling when & where I may see you.I have rewritten all that Klamath Lake autobio stuff, & am planning to draw out of it a lot of animal stories for a young folks book. For the Life if ever completed with all accumulated science notes will require years & years & volumes.Ever faithfully affectionatelyJohn Muir.
