I think you got a letter from me soon after sending yours of Nov. 23d in which I gave you the California home news etc. We are all as usual now except Margaret who has the grippe or influenza She was very ill for a few days but is now much betterI am sending you today fifty dollars, 25 for the Dunbar poor & 25 for you & Maggie as a christmas gift with which to get any little thing you best like.
