Farm April 15th 1867Dear Daniel I received your letter from Indianapolis and am thankful to you for your kindness in visiting John in the time of his distress. I am sure he would be glad to see you and have one of the family with him for a while, In his last letter to me he says he intends to go to the shop again very soon - I hope you are well and comfortable - the girls went to the examination of teachers at Montello and they were examined and all of them have got certificates to teach. Mary is engaged to teach in [illegible] district three months beginning in May - and Anna intends to tech too. the examination of teachers
