at Portage commences tomorrow and the girls are all going there to be examined again - Margt went back to the water cure last week and Jessie has come back to stay with us - Charles Reid has been at the water cure for some time and he thinks he is gaining some - his health has been very poor for a long while - along with this the girls send you [illegible] Newspaper wrote by the students of the high school, they thought you would know some of them I really hope no accident ill befall you. may you be quided and guarded continually by grace divine - John has decided not to come home at this time but we will be glad to see either of you at any time - write soon from your affectionate Mother
