Abstract
This project examines the Native American village that once stood on the land now occupied by the University of the Pacific's Stockton campus along the Calaveras River, exploring the tribe's identity, language, and way of life. It also investigates how the remains and legacy of these Indigenous people have been treated by the campus community over time. Lorenzo, Simon, and Ben graduated with BAs in History in 2025.
