Abstract
This project explores the history of "tactical frivolity" — the use of humor and playfulness as a form of peaceful protest — tracing the origins of the term and examining historical examples of comedy-driven activism and its effectiveness in creating social change. William and Riley are Media Arts and Production majors, and Will is a History major.
