I was delighted to get your charming letter yesterday. Yours & mamas came together Mr Johnson sent a boy with them to the hotel. He also sent the telegram, then came Helens letter & you may be very sure I was happy. I am going to sail for Europe tomorrow & I will now go without feeling so bad though I do feel lonsome about going over three alone. But I suppose Ill find friends & feel better than I expect. for everybody is good to your papa wherever I go. I hope you will not feel to lonsome I'll not stop very long I'm so glad you & Helen are well, & grandma & mama getting better. Here are some plants, smilax huckleberry & polypodrum from the same place as Helens. It is late & I have still much to do to get ready.
