My dear Mr. Muir
The Sierra Club should arrange for a public meeting early in April--& I read of the presence of Prof. Sargent on the coast. Do you think he could give us a talk on the subject of forests or something kindred - All this but just occurred to me & I write for your suggestions as to Prof. Sargent & to a meeting in general & whether you have any suggestions as to who culd be called on.
Yours truly
Elliot McAllister
