Berkeley Nov 10th My dear Mrs. Muir; The box of beautiful grapes arrived in fine condition, and I can assure you we have all enjoyed them, and appreciate your thoughtfulness in sending them. Probably you have enjoyed fruit fresh from vine and tree so long that you have forgotten what a vast difference there is between that and store fruit! Please remember me kindly to Helen, I hope she has entirely recovered from her severe illness. Such a siege as she passed through however takes a long time to rally from. Again thanking you I am very sincerely yours Mary H. Le Conte 2301 Piedmont Ave.
