[Soulsbyville] Dec. 17, 1900 Dear Mrs. Muir:- You will be surprised to hear from me after a year of silence, but you are doing better then then some of my relatives and acquaintances. I have taken your advice and got married, and I am now Mrs. [Edgers] of [Soulsbyville]. Sorry I could not send you anything else for Christmas, but we are clear out of siviliseation up here and I could not finde any thing available, so you will please except these simple tokens it was all I could think of, they are all home made. A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year To All Blanche Mrs. [Y]. S. [Edgers]
