Martinez, April 18, 1914 Dear Miss Kellogg, I’m very sorry to hear Mr Scripps is so dangerously ill and fondly hope that the present kind weather may effect his recovery to good health. Please convey my sympathy to Mrs Kellogg. I’m glad you are going to Yosemite and Tuolumne. I wanted to send you my Yosemite book but find I’ve none left. Just get a copy from Broman and tell him to charge it to my account. I’ve been confined to my den for months with Grippe but am getting better. I am hard at work on my Alaska travels and hope I may get it together ere long and take it to the mountains for final revision, perhaps to Yosemite where I may see you Ever faithfully your friend John Muir
