(Copied from fragment marked Y-8) [illegible] 1912 Dear Mrs. H[arriman]:I heartily wish you and all your blessed family, children and grandchildren, a happy Hew Year. I've not had a letter from you for a long time, but oftentimes I get good tidings of you thru Mr.Herrin, How time flies, especially after the three score and ten mark is passed. In my lonely old library den at home I'm Just now correcting proof of the first volume of my Autobiography book, commenced at your beautiful Pelican Bay Camp, and how many happy memories it brings vividly to viewl I suppose it will be published in a month or two. I'm also busy on an Alaska book. I hear a good deal from my love tribute to your blessed husband. Here is a review of it which shows that it is doing some good. [JOHH MUIR] [05309]
