Dear Friend Muir;
Another fine specimen of glacial mud is on exhibition at our house. We call [this our Margaret?] Alaska which is being interpreted you know the Alaska Pearl a fitting [name?] for this bivalious coast. Feb. 27 is the dat. Yours of Dec. 17 has just arrived which is the latest word received from you. A glacial letter later.
