MarianMarian Hooker1435 Willard StSan Francisco -Friday - Oct 29.My dear Mr. Muir-Mother has just gotten home from three days in the country and read your letter - If it does not storm on Sunday, we will run up to see you and I hope we shall find you much better. We are so sorry that an unkind fate04618 should have taken such a wicked shot at your - this is a bad way to finish off a Yosemite trip-I am trying to write in the midst of company, so I must cut myself short.
