Home, May 18 1909Darling Helen:The deed arrived yesterday I wish you could see how beautiful your home acres are Everything thriving & blooming The roses, geraniums, Romneya calistemon etc are making a great show. Also the young eucalyptus which are making a fine growth- & the grounds are all clear of weeds.All well here, saw Johnnie Reid's twins Sunday last. Maggie is kee[p?]ing well ever since I got her to keep her nose out doors.Wanda's pair are of course above all- anyhow healthy.I'm anxious to hear from you everyday. Be eternally careful & you will yet enjoy fine joyful health. Devotedly your fatherJohn Muir
