Transcription

Martinez, May 12, 1909Dear friend Sellers:Let me hear how you are, Ill be here a while in the old home busy & tranquil after getting John Burroughs & Co safely to Yosemite & back to Berkeley & off to Honolulu. It was curious fun to watch his features while he was interviewing the falls & El Capitan The snow was still heavy on the trails therefore no view of the summit peaks was obtained, but the falls were almost in full spring bloom & a ten or twelve mile walk to the Vernal & Nevada tired him & yielded all the climbing he craved for the short visit - Write [me?] about your health however brieflyJohn Muir
