Daggett, Dec. 27th
Dear Papa
Your letter dated Dec. 24 cam yesterday, and I was glad to know "alls well" at home. But its too bad you are having such dismal weather. How glad I am to have a desert home.
I had a good Christmas, and as usual, feel very happy. I think the desert is making me grow younger every day. I felt no bad after-effects from my walk.
Always lovingly yours
Helen
