Mr. Henry G. Bryant,
Secretary Am. Alpine Club,
Philadelphia;
Dear Mr. Bryant;
I heartily approve of having the annual meeting& dinner in Baltimore, in connection with the winter meeting of.the Am. Assn. Adv of Science Dec 27th-Jan.2.
No mountaineer's meeting could give me greater pleasure, & I'll be with you if I can get away from the tangle I'm now in, & from which escape seems at present doubtful.
Faithfully Yours
