Darling Helen,
I sent a Goldberg box 4 or 5 days ago. but if the list you are to send contains things I have anticipated I'll send another.
I added a thousand dollars to your term deposit acct. in the Martinez Bank today You have quite a lot of money coming in soon.
I can't well leave now - so much busieness to look after - 3 more deeds or 4 soon to be sent you for signature & grapes to ship etc & no end of letters piling on me. But when you really need me say so & I'll be with you by first train. We're all about as usual. & above all its glorious to know you are still marching bravely to sound happy health.
Ever your loving father John Muir
