Dear Papa -
Yesterday morning it was so windy I couldnt go out, so thats why you didnt get my usual letter. This morning is calm and warm again and I am so glad, & feel grand. Alice Manson went home yesterday afternoon. Mary is busy helping with the hay baling. All goes well. Please send me the receipt for that Sacrell bill you paid. I feel that there is a mistake, so send me the receipt as soon as you can.
How was the fleet show? Write soon.
Yours lovingly
Helen
