My dear Mr. Muir:
In my mail received today comes the sad news of your loss and I hasten to extend my most heartfelt sympathy.
It is hard to give up our dear ones, but what is to come, must come and we are obliged to bear it.
Kindly extend my sympathy to your two daughters.
