Dear Mrs Bidwell:
We all thank you most sincerely for your good samaritan letter so full of loving kindness for our loneliness. Helen I'm glad to say is much better, & with her sister Wanda is now able to take long 30 mile horseback rides over the hot desert here without fatigue. I too am resting & hope soon to take up my work again. It is not true as far as I know that I have been "critically ill" as reported in the newspapers - only deadly stunningly tired. Sometime I'll tell you all the sad story. In the meantime I can only thank you with best wishes & kindest regards to your sister & Mr alexander I am ever
Faithfully Yours
