Dear Mr.Ray:
How goes the New Year? Wo hoped to have had you all with us during the holidays. So we wrote to Prof. Allen. To think we have not yet seen Master Allen Muir! I have a fine book for him. Write and tell us how you all are. Can't you come up some Saturday evening and return Sunday evening, after the weather settles?
Cordially yours,
[John Muir]
