MOUNT HAMILTON, Dec. 15, 1892
John Muir esqr
President of the Sierra Club,
Martinez, Cal.
My Dear Sir: -
It has occurred to me that your Club (to which I wish every success) might like to make one of its excursions form Mt. Hamilton into the ranges east of us. The best time to do this would be in April or May or June. If you wish to arrange such an excursion at any time, it will give me great pleasure to forward your plans for it.
I am, my dear Sir,
Very truly yours,
E. S. Holden,
Perhaps you might like to come up here before hand so as to see what to do? I shall be very glad to see you any Saturday.
