John Muir, Esq.,
Martinez, Cal.

Dear Mr. Muir:-

I have just received the additional material in regard to the Tuolumne. This answers the purpose exactly. The material relating to the present Yosemite reservation and the Big Trees will go into the August number. That relating to the proposed reservation will go into the September.
I sent you a day or two ago a copy of THE EVENING POST of the 24th of May containing an editorial which I wrote including a portion of your August article.
I go to Washington this afternoon and hope to stir up the Committee on Public Lands to action on the Vandever bill.

Very Sincerely Yours,

R.N. Johnson.
