Dear Bro John
I write to inform you that a payment of $300.00 will be due on Nov. 1st together with interest on 900.00 for one year at 8% One third part of which will be $124.000 [Mom?] and I have not sold any lots yet I hope you will forward this__ This city is still growing finaly and very soon every lot will sell at a firm advance I have spend $200.00 on im- -provements and keeping the premises in good marketable condition and all looks well and the City is rapidly growing around it

[letterhead] I hope you are well and prosperous_ I trust that Anna will be well ere this I would be pleased to hear from her_ We have just had a very pleasant visit from Joanna and family from K.C._ Maggie will start tomorrow morning for Wisconsin to see the folks there and I hope to follow within a month We are all very well Mrs Muir sends regards to yourself and family
