John Muir Martinez Cal Dear Brother
I wrote you on the 10# of Sept. that the 2000.$ on the W.S. Brown house would be due on Oct 15# and I might have to pay it, I had to pay it and as I did not have the amt owed at the time I had to get it at the Bank. Now I cnnot tell just when I shall have it out so I wish if you can you would [illegible] send yr 2000$ dft. I have enough to pay up all Interest & C have now so the 2000 even will get we over all O.I. and remove this debt. The 5000.$ is at 8% and will give us no trouble as it [was?] borrowed years bring due July 17# 1890. With love to you and yours and Annie [illegible] am Truly Walter Brown
