[letterhead]

Oct. 4th 1893.

My dear Mr Muir;

I should like very much to meet you for an interview for the Examiner as soon as you arrive. The paper would like to run a good long one if it is exclusive & the other papers do not get it first. You would be doing me a great favor

if you will let me know [here?] when and where I can meet you. That is, of course if you care to tell about the European glaciers &c. as compared with ours. I hope that you have enjoyed your trip.

Yours very sincerely
