Getlin, Josh: Moscone and forming relationships
Abstract
Getlin: George never forgot a name. George remembered relationships on an arcane level going back, I mean, years and years. Any time you would spend with him walking the various neighborhoods, driving through the city, meeting people at events in San Francisco, it wasn't just the George knew the people who were there but he had stories connected to them. Interfamilial relationships on his end and on their end going back years. It was remarkable. He was like a walking encyclopedia, not just of the city but of the people in the city. And I was always almost staggered by that every time I was with him.
