Abstract
Far too many projects are stifled by funding realities. Adding technology to the mix of funding needs can create even more challenges for support. This session focuses on two technology projects with distinctive approaches in terms of both scale and impact. The Discovery Wall implementation at Auraria Library is a large-scale digital display wall that was completed with a modest budget and resources. The second example, at University of the Pacific, creates a technology rich library space to support curriculum transformation. Both of these projects emerged from library redesign initiatives. You will learn practical insights and lessons learned from these two case studies to help you:
- Gain campus-wide involvement
- Secure technology funding
- Project staffing needs
