was very beautiful in form, & pure in color.

All gls not of equal size-not equally sunned. Therefore moraines do not all show 3 ridges to

curves pond with lake terraces

Rush Crk gl [Creek glacier] the longest of Mono.

The terraces of lake show from perfect form that no great amount of washing has occurred since their formation only gaps made by streams.

On every peeble [pebble] is written the music of waves & [ ] [ ] [records of many a flood song as well as twinkle & whisper music of light brooklets]
