In the pool babbling & sputtering of countless small vents is mingled with heavy labored

In many places the ground is warm in vicinity as indicated by the absence of snow
The geyser is sit [situated] at base of lava ridge is on arm of Long val [valley].
Aft of Long v [valley] 7600 at head—is the path & meeting place of vast quantity of gls [glaciers] flowing S mors [moraines] & side val [valley]
