have leveled a little spot on mtn side for napping upon by fireside.
Alt [Altitude] of camp 11,500 ft [feet] & blanketless!
Oct-[23] 12. Set out early for Mt. Tyndall. reach summit about 9 o clock A.M. Grand views in valley of Kern & Greenhorn mtns [mountains] & N [north] & S [south] along axis of range & out over the Great Basin. Inyo Range etc.
