Transcription

The Victoria flower faded to bud. The young leaf doubled in diameter. Now three feet. A young one has appeared, about eight inches diameter – heart-shaped – in rolled margin covered with red bristles, something like broad moccaso. Malasia paraensis, Herb. Leaves 12 inches long, 7 wide. Handsome tree.
