Mor R [Moraine Red] bears lit [little] to right of St K [Starr King] near terminus then sweeps to left Ill [Illilouette] after receiving last trib [tributary] 25 wide 2 ft deep ordinary stage, Alt [altitude] 6110 Runs N 25º [degrees] W 1/2 m [mile] above Ill [Illilouette] falls ice compelled to ascend 20º [degrees] in sweeping Gl Pt [Glacier Point] & Sent [Sentinel] Dome reckoning from stream level Slope of grand W [west] wall here 27º [degrees] Stream from last trip [tributary] to falls has descent of 140 ft
