Looking [north] from height above Kodiack, 1000 [feet]] the last of the low descending [glaciers] we shall see to the [West] and [North] on this trip. To the west of these [glaciers] rises the fine volcanic cone of Pogumnoi on the [west] end of Unimak Island. [Sketch: From bay where party was left [opposite] Yuk.]
