Martinez Sep. 3. 1910Darling Helen:I told tom you were peach-hungry Wanda said he could get some for you from Holiday - Dont know whither he did or not. Your own here are all gone but a few on the tree by the woodhouse too soft to send.I transferred $1000. from my own to your account to draw on as you wish, & told the teller to send you a book of blank checks.Wanda's babes are growing at great rate & are very amusing Little John cro[illegible]s & gurgles thanks for every mouthful when hungry.The muscats will soon be ripe & you can feast to the full on them. all goes fairly well. Your S.F. lot is side walked & curbed etc & litle adjusted.Wells going dry in the blazing weather You must be salamandered on your pet desert. I'm pegging away in my old den. May return to Los Angeles in two or three weeks. Have you heard from Charlotte. She has a babe girl.My regards to all. Love to thee. Your devoted Father
