Daggett, June 9 - thDear Papa -I received your good letter inclosing the Japanese silk picture - thank you for sending it, and also my early artistic attemps - they made me laugh. Im so glad to hear that your work on Stickeen is about finished so you'll be coming to the desert soon. Mr Van Dyke always asks when you are coming and threatened to send you a telegram saying I "had a relapse" for he knew that would bring you. But anyway I look for you as soon as your little book is fairly off to be printed - horray! The weather here is glorious now and Im well and happy as ever.Lovingly yoursHelen04219
