Daggett, Cal. Apr. 15 -Dear Papa -This is a lovely warm morning and I am feeling fine - the whole world looks cheerful this morning. I expected another letter from Wanda yesterday saying when she was coming but just remembered that probably you were talking to her about selling the house, so she would put off her trip down here until after something was settled.I paid Mrs Funk and told her how pleased both you and I were with the cooking and their kind treatment, and she was pleased. We are all well. The Van Dykes began mowing hay this morning. All my geraniums are sending out new leaves, so is the Virginia Creeper.Miss Manson and I are going to ride now so good-bye for today. Im looking for a letter from you in this afternoon's mail.Always your lovingHelen04136
