Dear Mr Calkins

Many thanks for your grand Hetch Hetchy editorial It is just what is wanted to kindle fires of protest far & near. it has already gone far as the letters of Mr Tellinghast & Prof. McBride show, & soon personal letters will be flying about the Secretary & President thick as snow-flakes-ensuring I think complete victory. for at heart I feel sure the President is with us. We are trying to get all our 1000 Club members to write personal letters, especially those who have been in the Valley & we are getting booklists or small pamphlets to scatter broadcast.
