[in margin: Gen 3174]I met lots of friends & friendly interesting people who showed all sorts of kindness. The Sellers have bought a fine house in Pasadena & are now complete Californians. I saw them off for Chicago to cut all ties there & return in a few months. Keith is still hard at work with fine stout pluck. He intends going home to the mountains for a while this summer. Our folks are pretty well & I am, with kindest regards to you all faithfully yoursJohn Muir
