On the whole this summer's trip has been one of the best of the half tourist sort I ever made - the glorious Alleghany forests & those of New England & Canada in their Autumn red & purple & gold & the delightful little side trips up the Hudson to Osborns & into the Berkshire HIlls with Gilder full of peace & trees & poetry & the sturdy meaty nuggets of New York & Boston.As to the Colorado Canon Mr Page asked for an article of book on it but I know far too little about it at present & said I didn't know when I could study it.I found all well here.
