BUEL,ASSISTANT EDITOR.John Muir, Esq.,Martinez, Cal.My dear Muir:When you go down into the King's River canon you will probably fall in with two of our Century staff, Mrs. Marshall, and her sister, Miss Worstell, both very intelligent ladies and deeply interested in forests. I hope it will come within the range of opportunity for you to take a little tramp with them.I hope that the article on the Grand Canon will be off your hands before you go into the King's River, for there you might be eaten up by bears. How I should like to be with you this year on that tramp, but it cannot was!Faithfully Yours,[illegible]03017
