Department of the InteriorWashington, September 26th, 1891. Mr. R. U. Johnson, Associate Editor "Century"Union Square, New York City. Dear Sir: You will find herewith letters sent to you of 11th instant. You will remember that the Senate last session directed the Secretary to make further investigation and report upon the Yosemite Valley management. But again failed to make an appropriation. Have you any suggestion as to what additional I can do to strengthen my last report, with which you are acquainted. Very respectfully, John W. Noble, Secretary.
