But it was within a few rods of that group of tree stumps near your South Station across the camp stream. And this camp was then as near the front of the glacier as I could get with dry ground. Sorry my notes are not more exact on this point. You are at liberty to use anything of mine of use to you.Yours in haste but cordially,JOHN MUIR(Following sketch at side of letter)
