Martinez June 28, 1989My dear Mr Johnson,Not having heard from you since the receipt of your note of the 22nd I suppose you are still in S.F. unable to tear away from the sun & fog & trade winds of this glorious climate. I want to meet you at Port Costa as you go for a last handshake & good advice etc. Trust you will have a good time at Chico & that the temperature there will be ardent enought to melt the blues. Parry has returned. Hope you saw him. With pleasant memories of your visit I am every turly yoursJohn Muir
