Then he is engaged to read or recite one of his own poems at Harry Edwards benefit Thursday eve- ning and he ought to do his best for Harry Edwards and his wife have been the true and the [tried?] to Charlie. Then one cannot say that you will not [Lasten?] down [&?] have one talk with Agazziz who prolongs his stay, and in case he feels himself bettering may do so until you come. Let Charlies visit pass for this fall. He is miserably morbid & the move would not be likely to yield to your [illegible]. He is a real lover at last, and I think 00617
